FAQs
What to Wear?
First and foremost, our hope is that you come ready to have fun and donate to our great school! We want everyone who attends to feel comfortable in what they choose to wear. Traditionally guests wear semi-formal to cocktail attire. This year is no different so fancy is fun, but we’d rather have you on the dance floor than in shoes that are hard to dance the night away!
What to Expect and Schedule of Events?
At entry, you can expect a complimentary drink as our thanks for attending. Please sign in to get your name tag and make your way to our friendly coat check.
The Silent Auction will be held in the Fireside Room to start your bidding! Teen volunteers will also be available to sell raffle tickets to you. There will be a bar and appetizers to get a quick snack and drink while you are shopping.
At 6pm we will all make our way to the dining room to sit for dinner. We will begin our programming as dessert is served so please make your way for a cup of coffee or drink before we kick off the Verbal and Fund a Need Portion of the night.
At the conclusion of our fundraising efforts, the band will begin. This well-known area band is ready to put on quite the show so stick around.

The same bidding number will be used during the live auction and fund a need. You will receive your paddle at check in to participate in that portion of the night.

Additional donation cards are available on the website and school office if you would like to include one.
How Do I Attend?
Tickets can be purchased on our website, www.cabriniauction.com You can buy individual tickets, tables and sponsor a teacher.
RSVP cards will also be in the paper invitation being sent to recent attendees and school families. They can be returned by mail or dropped off at the school office.
Where Do the Proceeds Go?
The SFC Dinner Auction is a fundraiser that is used to help offset the cost of tuition and school operations that the SFC Parish generously subsidizes through financial giving. We are grateful for a supportive parish! The auction allows us to keep tuition competitive compared to other parochial schools. The auction proceeds also help with specific improvements and needs within the school.
Is This a New Fundraiser?
No! This year we are excited to host the 30th Anniversary of our school Dinner Auction. It is the first year being held at the Chandelier Ballroom. Previously it has been at the Washington County Fair Park and at our school building.
What is the Cash Raffle?
Cash prize raffle tickets are available before and at the event to help support our underwriting efforts. Drawing will be held on March 7th . Winner need not be present to win.
Only 300 tickets will be sold at a price of $100.00 and can be purchased by an auction volunteer, or at the school office.
Prizes:
1st Place $5000
2nd Place $1500
3rd Place $500
What is the Fund a need?
As the final piece of programming, we will be having a paddle raise to fund the specific need to update certain classrooms that have stood the test of time but are in need of attention now. Our efforts will go toward new flooring, paint and cabinetry. This has been identified by the school as a priority that could most benefit from additional funds while also pursuing grants that can help subsidize the most expensive construction projects.
